The state-of-the-art design has been engineered by our personnel and independently tested. Donaldson Conductive Grid with ePTFE Membrane Pleated Filter Bags offer the first-in-class filters for your applications and processes. The pleated construction increases the surface area of the filter giving you more filtration power with each bag.
Features
- Smooth, hydrophobic, state-of-the-art ePTFE membrane provides excellent particle release during pulse cleaning
- Resistance to earth of dissipative filter media from all parts ≤100M Ω
- Resistance to earth, ≤10 Ω for metal-to-metal
- ≤ 2500 mm2 / 3.9 in2 of projected, continuous insulating surface area—or test to verify charge transfer meets limits for class of service
- <1.0 x 106 Ohm/Square, surface resistivity at 100 or 500 V (IEC 60079-32-2, IEC 60093 and ASTM D 257). Break down voltage is < 100 V
- Intrinsically safe construction – tested to meet IEC 60079-32-1 requirements.
- Pleated bags offer twice the filter area to increase efficiency and decrease pressure drop
- Shorter bag height allows for a larger dropout area and less opportunity for bag abrasion
Applications
Intended for use in critical applications with Powders & Hybrid Vapor/Gas Mixtures of MIE below 3 mJ in Explosion Groups 11A & 11B.
